Knitting Classes in London on this week
If your main experience of knitting is unwanted Christmas presents from well meaning grandparents, then The Campaign for Wool – in conjunction with National Wool Week – are setting out to change your mind with a series of free in-store classes. Knitting experts such as Wool And The Gang will be offering 'men only' classes demonstrating how to craft your own beanie hats and chunky scarves, while Sue Stratford will be providing the chance to knit your own festive jumper. Amateur knitters will also have the chance to expand their wardrobe with handmade snoods and detachable collars, as well as witness the pros in action with live knitting taking place in the shop window and celebrity knitters making appearances throughout the day.
Classes will run throughout the day in three time slots:
Morning classes: 10:30-11:30
Drop-in session: 11:30-18:00
Evening classes: 18:00-19:00
