RNLI Extreme Sea Safety DVD
BlueDome readers can receive a free copy of this thrilling and informative interactive DVD released by the RNLI aimed at kitesurfers, windsurfers and surf kayakers. The DVD offers a wealth of up-to-the minute safety information for people taking part in these increasingly popular sports. This is not some dry presentation from a safety lecturer but a series of great presentations from experts in their sport. Some super footage from all concerned helps to get the message across that you can be as extreme as you like - and safe too if you take the right precautions and learn the correct skills.
As RNLI 2003 statistics show, 364 lifeboat launches were to the aid of people involved in these activities – that’s around seven every week – and of this number a staggering 19 lives were saved.
