Free 'GM-Free Britain' Stickers
Soon the Government will be making some important decisions about the future of food grown and eaten in the UK. At the moment, most food in the UK is GM-free. But GM - genetic modification - is a new technology and nobody really knows it's effects on our health and the environment.
The Government is under pressure to allow widespread planting of GM crops and more imports of GM food . If GM gets the go-ahead then it will be impossible to guarantee that organic or locally grown food is GM-free.
