Free Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream
Free Cone Day is back and this year it's taking place on Thursday 19th May. If you want free ice cream then pop along to one of the locations listed which are all taking part.
Free Cone Day was first celebrated back in 1979 in the first Ben & Jerry's scoop shop - a dilapidated gas station in Burlington, Vermont. Ben and Jerry had been scooping ice cream for a year and decided to reward staff and customers in the best way they knew how - by serving up a tasty tub of thanks free to everyone. An instant success, Free Cone Day has now been scooping up free cones for over twenty-five years and has raised tub loads of money for charity too.
